Fire and Explosion Origin and Cause Investigator
Jeff graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He retired from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in November 2011 after more than 30 years in local and federal law enforcement. At ATF he was trained and certified as an Explosive Specialist, including post-blast investigation, and as a fire investigator.
Since leaving law enforcement he has worked in private industry as a fire and explosion investigator across a wide range of matters, and has testified as an origin and cause expert in both state and federal court.
