What a reconstruction engagement looks like
A typical reconstruction begins with scene documentation (FARO laser scanning, drone photogrammetry, and photographic coverage), vehicle inspection (including event data recorder downloads where available), and witness / physical-evidence review. From there, our engineers build a reconstruction model, run dynamic simulations, and produce courtroom-ready deliverables:
- Scene reconstructions grounded in scan data, not estimates
- Dynamics and simulation models for speed, sight-line, and collision-sequence analysis
- Animations and visualizations produced directly from the reconstruction data
- Expert reports and testimony defensible under cross-examination
Cases range from single-vehicle roadway departures and pedestrian incidents through multi-unit commercial collisions, marine casualties, and industrial-equipment accidents.
